Thursday September 16 – Sunday September 25: Southampton Boat Show.

Saturday September 17: Great River Race.

Thursday October 6th: Chinese Supper Social Evening at Penton Hook Club House. 7.30pm for 8.00pm
Malcolm Head (ex TC dredger skipper) will give a talk entitled "Treasures from the Thames", and he will bring along many of the fascinating and strange items he has collected from the bed of the river Thames.

Saturday October 8th: Day Trip on the steamer "Waverley" to Clacton and the River Blackwater.

 NEW DATE: Thursday November 17th: Fish 'n Chips Social Evening and talk, Penton Hook Yacht Club, 7.30 for 8.00pm. Gillian Nahum of Henley Sales & Charter will give a talk (with slides) on her life in boat brokerage and many valuable tips on what to look for when buying a boat and how to price, advertise and successfully sell a boat.
